With OpenSSL, for Lighttpd we weren't allowed to import the OpenSSL
interface (due to it's stability of volatile) until we had signed an
agreement with the guys that owned it that meant that they had to notify
us of any changes to OpenSSL before they were made. I'm not sure if this
is a standard process for importing volatile interfaces or just a
one-off for OpenSSL (would be strange if it were a one-off though). We
are on the same team so maybe it's not relevant here.

None, I'm fine with them as volatile, this is just due diligence. Last
time, I got as far as the C-Team review only for them to tell me that I
had to get this agreement signed for OpenSSL.
