you've probably performed some click or keystroke during the applet
tests that has been catched by the applet causing it to receive
something it didn't expect.

without further information I can't say anything. In all the cases it
makes more sense to work with the current head.

this issue is already fixed so you can build your own htmlunit snapshot
in place of the htmlunit release provided with WebTest.
