I've already protested by Simon and he has adapted the doc a bit. I
think that it comes from a lack of knowledge of HtmlUnit JS support
capacities, once again. HtmlUnit 2.0 should help to change this with
some good news in JS support. Stay tunned.

As far as I can understand it, it should stay available as stand-alone.

I don't really think so. In fact I guess that most of the work doesn't
go public otherwise it would be really ridiculous. I don't think that
there is a Google statement there, this is only Simon Steward's point.
High profile backer could surely help but even without it we, the future
isn't dark at all.
