WebTest is just an extension to Ant so the Ant doco is your best bet for this case. I would start here:
http://ant.apache.org/manual/ If using Ant 1.8.1, exec is here: -> Ant Tasks -> List of Tasks -> Exec If jython is good enough, consider: -> Ant Tasks -> List of Tasks -> Script Cheers, Paul. On 22/06/2010 11:27 PM, Dave McGlade wrote:
I want to run a Python file via WebTest. I have found pyAntTasks-1.3.3.jar, which seems from the examples adds a ‘py-run’ XML tag, at least for Eclipse environments. I cannot persuade Webtest to recognise this tag. Am I copying the jar file to the wrong place, do I have to set up additional configuration somewhere, etc? Alternatively, some documentation says I could just use the built-in ‘exec’ tag for a general executable, but there seems to be no documentation on this. Can you point me at it? *Dave McGlade* Senior Software Engineer logo.jpg *i2O Water *** Epsilon House University of Southampton Science Park Southampton SO16 7NS t: +44 (0) 2380 111428 m: +44 (0) 7917 871526 www.i2owater.com <http://www.i2owater.com> Registered in the UK 5617487
