As important as this is, shouldn*t our lawmakers, no matter which political party they belong, @ least read what they are voting on? ++++++++++++++++++
The exact same question was asked about the Patriot Act, and the Homeland Security department organization etc. etc...... In reality very few, if any, of them read the bills....IF they are read at all it is by staffers that give them a synopsis; and it is quite probable that many would not understand them anyway....A synopsis is provided by the writers(lawyers) of the bills too....
