I was just thinking about how much the President has been on television and in print, and gives out details about the stimulus and making the point that the money will be watched closely and that the states better do the right thing......
I think that has a lot to do with his popularity and I think it also neutralizes a lot of the talking heads and blog stuff....he's not feeding the press, he's communicating with the people....and I tend to think they believe him and the heads and blogs can't just vomit lies... Bush never told the people jack diddly.....he was always just a "show" without substance at signings etc.....and fed the press a lot of BS.....
