and another thing about Obama, he has a 68% approval rate. And right now, many people know the economy is in terrible shape and they want something done about it! And the fact that republicans are quickly turning into the party of 'no' without offering any ideas of their own........well, that's not going to win them many points with the voters!

I think that has a lot to do with his popularity and I think it also neutralizes a lot of the talking heads and blog stuff....he's not feeding the press, he's communicating with the people....and I tend to think they believe him and the heads and blogs can't just vomit lies... Bush never told the people jack diddly.....he was always just a "show" without substance at signings etc.....and fed the press a lot of BS.....
