I don't see where a President ends a drug war. He can lower funding for it or
change tactics but you don't sign an executive order. Does one end the
prosecution for cocaine, herion, LSD and other hard drugs; not hardly. Wiping
out the poppy in Afganistan is a good idea but also wipe out their economy
unless we are prepared to replace it with something. Wiping out drug cartels is
another war in itself. Ending the drug war won't end that. Mexico is trying and
it is spilling over into the States.
