I don't necessarily agree with this - if you look at all the Muslims in the world, only a small fraction of them are violent extremists. There are more homicidal maniacs in the US. By observing this multicultural town in England, I can see it is possible to live in harmony and have very little violence, and even less hate crime. Of course, it also brings up the profiling issue. That's exactly what the masterminds behind the 2001 attacks were counting on. I really believe it was a plot of the West to bring down the towers and attack Washington. The Middle Eastern terrorists were perfect patsies to pin it on but I do not believe Al Queda had the capability to do what was done AND Western politicians and multinationals benefitted greatly and monetarily by the Middle Eastern war and unrest. To these ruthless power-mad people, the collateral damage of 3000+ deaths and war dead were acceptable losses.
