I agree that Disutils is good. I just haven't looked at the tavis directory
structure vs. the current to see what changes are required and why.

I still don't know that we want to make a chanage this large at this point.
I would like to go through the code more completely and see what tradeoffs
are being made and why. After just a quick glance, I can see things I like
in the tavis code, but plenty I don't as well. I'll come up with a more
thourough discussion of those points once I've finished reading and
comparing.
