No place in particular that I know of. PSP was used for templating more because it was one of the few choices available than because of its excellent suitability. Cheetah was designed specifically for templating, and appeared only this year. PSP was designed to embed Python code in web pages, which can be used to templating effect insofar as Python code facilitates this. Whether PSP has any other unique advantages, I'll leave to somebody who uses PSP to answer. > If Cheetah is the preferred templating solution, why not just bundle it with > Webware too? 1) Cheetah is new and still in late alpha stage. 2) It can be used without Webware. 3) It's packaged differently than other Webware components. Cheetah installs in the Python site-packages directory; Webware installs in its own directory. 4) It's bigger than other Webware components and is currently fast changing. 5) It has its own development team. 6) Chuck has floated the idea of offering a "Webware Deluxe" bundle, containing Cheetah and other third-party packages. This would be alongside the regular Webware tarball. So you can get either Webware "pure" or Webware "batteries included". This may appear sometime in the future. -- -Mike (Iron) Orr, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (if mail problems: [EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://iron.cx/ English * Esperanto * Russkiy * Deutsch * Espan~ol _______________________________________________ Webware-discuss mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webware-discuss
