I wish to run Webware via cgi on an externally hosted server where I can't start a long-running process myself and my provider is not willing to start it for me. OneShot.cgi would be too slow. Is there a way to make WebKit.cgi start the long-running process (the webware server) if it is not running already. This way there's a speed and resources penalty only the first time and not later.
