Ian -- Thanks for the update on CanKit.

Not being a Java / Tomcat (Websphere) developer, the "Java Bean" is sort-of an unknown to me.

Given that the CanKit was to parallel the bean, can you explain what the cankit (beans) was going to
do and how you  are doing those things now, in Webware?

I believe Jay Love was behind it.  It's been unclear to a lot of us what
exactly its goals were -- Bean-like, but even that needs some explaining
