Sorry, you're right, I left out the version details:
WK 0.6.1b1, Python 2.1.1, RHLinux 7.1, Apache 1.3.19, mod_webkit 0.5

The line 348 in my Application.py is in dispatchRequest():
            self.handleGoodURL(transaction)

and AFAICT, this is the first line in every traceback I've ever got from WK 
(but I usually get the rest of the stack...)

As for the processes, I don't know.  I have resorted to a cron job that 
wgets the site, and restarts WK if it time outs.  /etc/rc.d/init.d/webkit 
reports that it cannot find the pid of the running WK process, so I am 
pretty sure that that one at least crashes.

This started happening a couple of weeks ago.  I modified my app, but I 
didn't touch anything related to WK or Webware and I didn't change anything 
below writeHTML() in my Pages
