I regularly run apache bench to test my website on my rather slow 800MHz Mac. It serves about 40 pages per second. This is somewhat faster than PHP runs, and 20 times faster than my old JSP/J2EE application would run.
any comparisons between webware and a non-J2EE servlet container like tomcat?
