I guess I still fail to see the merit in this effort. When I attended the HHS presentation in San Diego it became very clear that HHS was not going to be out looking for what may be perceived as Privacy Violations because Organizations were running a particular Operating System.
A point of protocol and etiquet: When someone reply-s to you singularly this is considered an off line response. I personally have no problem with you putting my response on the listserv, but you should then leave the email in its original format.

Thanks for your reply.
I think that a discussion and comparison of other operating systems and
licensing schemes, though interesting, would not be germane to the topic
at hand. To reiterate, I am interested in a discussion of the HIPAA
Privacy Requirements in light of the MS Windows XP EULA. I am sorry
that I failed to make that clear in my original post.
I would be very interested in viewing the threads of previous
discussions of this topic. I would be very grateful if you would
point me to an archive where this topic has been discussed in
detail.
I would be even more grateful if you could point me to a web location
where a definitive resolution of this issue has been found.
