David, Whoever's doing this is out of their tree!   There are some paired elements in the PAT segment, but this relation is not one of them: PAT05 & PAT06 (date of death) -- both must be present, or both absent PAT07 & PAT08 (patient weight) -- both must be present or both absent   The opinions expressed here are my own and not necessarily the opinion of LCMH.   Douglas M.
