Let us see where we are: Your database is in the METRIC system, where wind speeds are stored as kilometers/hour.
Does the data in the database look correct? That is, are the wind speeds what one would expect given they are in kilometers/hour? Perhaps you could give an example? The NOAA statistics actually come from the *daily summaries*, so they must be checked as well. Check the table archive_day_wind. In SQL, this would be: *mysql* mysql> *USE weewx;* mysql> *SELECT * FROM archive_day_wind LIMIT 5;* Does this data look correct? If I understand you correctly, you think that the data are somehow being read as m/s, instead of kilometers/hour? How do you know this? If I understand correctly, you think they are then getting converted from m/s to kilometers/hour for the NOAA report. Is that correct?
