Hi, I developed a small driver for the Build Your Own Weather Station with a Raspberry Pi a while back, it has code to read pressure, temp and humidity from the BM280 sensor in case you want to take a look: https://github.com/jardiamj/BYOWS_RPi/blob/master/byows_rpi.py
It's not perfect and unfortunately I don't have the hardware for testing everything but I has worked well for other people. Best regards, Jardi.
