Joel - print to 'where' ? They how do you tell them which tool to use and how to use it ? There is a limit to how much hand-holding makes sense.
The top paragraphs in https://www.weewx.com/docs/5.0/usersguide/installing/ pretty clearly indicate that users need to have some basic skills. The next section https://www.weewx.com/docs/5.0/usersguide/where/ mentions where to find logs. Users need to actually 'read' the Users' Guide and sometimes surf the wiki to supplement that information.
