Neat. Ours had the 01036 last Christmas (which is why I jumped down the Weewx rabbit hole...) and just last week I saw them in stock again.
As for which is better? I have no clue. But for $79, it supports Weewx and I have a public facing website that my whole neighborhood uses to check the weather. I can't complain one bit.
