It looks as though the FO 2650, 2950 etc are indeed the same as the Ambient observer or Aercus WeatherSleuth - but these are not the stations which have the USB issues!!! One may as well say "you can solve the usb issues by getting a Davis" just as easily as saying use an Observer!! Still it is interesting and leaves me now wondering the connection (if any) between FO and Ambient - since one associates the Observer with Ambient normally.
