I plan to run it from a Raspberry Pi and wasn't planning to use lacrossealerts.com. My experience with these proprietary web data collectors is that eventually they'll make it difficult to get the data back or start charging for the privilege. I can put them both on an ethernet hub and try to sniff some packets but I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
