What correction did you do, and how do know that 'nothing happens'? There are two main ways of correcting bad rain values - and both methods have advantages and disadvantages
Method 1 a. Correct the rain (and possibly rain_rate) data fields in the archive table b. Drop the statistics c. Rebuild the statistics from the archive data - the yearly, weekly, monthly reports will be corrected when they are next created. Method 2 a. Correct the rain (and possibly rain_rate) data fields in the archive table b. Correct the data in daily_rain and daily_rainrate tables for the day(s) which were amended in step a. Note that yearly, monthly and weekly reports are not generated every report cycle - so you may have to wait to see the correction(s). IMO method 2 is best - but requires more care and more database manipulation. Method 1 is simpler, but will lose any high/lows which were from LOOP data as all the high/lows will be taken from the archive data on the rebuild. The units held in the database will usually be US Imperial, unless you have specifically created a metric or wxmetric database - so your 0.3mm will be in the database as .01 inches approx.
