"Tide data for Canada, Germany, and the UK are in a separate package: sudo apt-get install xtide-data-nonfree" I thought that by installing that, it would work. Oh well. i'll have to dtop the ride part. Thanks for the help. I'll try to get 'regular' predictions working.
