The newer version of the KlimaLogg Pro main station has an extra basic setting: Automatic USB-connection: ON/OFF. (For example: manufacture date 08/2017)
The default setting of Auto USB is ON (activate). When activated the device tries to connect at every full hour. Note: elder versions of the KlimaLogg Pro main station, which didn't have this basic option, try to connect only once a day at 00:00. I checked the configuration messages read by the weewx klimalogg driver and noticed no differences between the Auto USB ON and Auto USB OFF settings. So, no changes are needed for the driver.
