Having discovered weewx, I'd like to use it as part of a homebrew monitoring station. My station will have a wifi device but I've not found data on how to use it to effectively mimick one of the commercial weather stations. E.g what protocols do the wifi weather stations use, which one would be recommended to replicate.. is this a sound concept? Any hints and clues appreciated.
