I know these options.
Until know - since about 18 years I use the software "virtual weather 
station" an there was no problem to add values (like melted snow)
I have a calibrated rain cup where I melt the snow periodically to get the 
rainfall in winter. (when it snows)

Maybe someone knows a solution, how I can correct daily values in "Weewx"?
