Yes, it does have a few drawbacks. However, The compact size, lack of moving parts, and overall set of features make it an appealing option.
I'm guessing by the lack of responses though that WeeWx doe not support the Lufft UMB protocol or the TCP/IP interface of this station. I have a ton on my plate at the moment but I'll look at making a driver later this summer if someone doesn't beat me to it.
