So, Looks like Version 4 is beta testing with Python 3? My background is I've been using weewx since version 2.0.2, and the pc its running on is getting a little wonky.
I've got a custom 'filegenerator' and 'imagegenerator' that need to be upgraded to the latest version. I'm wanting to put weewx on a raspberry pi as part of this who upgrading process. I'd like to just go through the upgrade once, so was thinking that I should just go ahead and get things working with python 3/Weewx 4, since I have to go through the work anyway. I'm pretty familiar with raspberry pi's and messing around with them, so not really concerned about that. I've done a little Python in the past and figure upgrading my custom code won't be that bad, once I get the whole environment setup and configured.
