Remember, for year plots, the plots are *aggregates.* The default is to average over 24 hours, so it will smear out the highs and lows. If you want to see the real highs and lows, take a look in the Customizing Guide, section *Including a type more than once in a plot <http://www.weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#including_same_sql_type_2x>*.
