Vantage Pro 2. The heat index reports correctly on the console, but on both the
standard skin and on BelcherTown I get the following:
Note how the heat index becomes the temperature at the same point that the
humidity falls below 40%. Happened yesterday and again today. I’m having Weewx
calculate the heat index in software now, and it failed the identical way when
I was using the hardware.
Why is this? The heat index doesn’t step function to be the temperature in real
life like that.
