I have added the temperature of my pond as extraTemp1 and using DS18B20 on the raspberry, runs fine. Now I have also added the water level of the pond as extraTemp2 using ultrasound. Of course I get the reading as degree C when it should be in centimeters, but I don't mind - anyway, it works fine. But if I get a power outage, the extraTemp1 is just missing, as it should be, but extraTemp2 records a value of 0, producing a misleading graph. Is there any way to avoid this?
