Hi, Jens

Best solution would be to solve the problem at its source. It sounds like
the DS18B20 emits a zero, even though the power was off. Any way to change
that?

Alternatively, you could tell StdQC to reject values outside a "known good"
range:

[StdQC]
    [[MinMax]]
        extraTemp2 = 1.0, 1000.0
