I'm on the correct side of the equator, use a non-metric unit system, and 
the one true RF band (915MHz) :-)

Dunno if that matters any re: the hardware and what id it shows.   
Everything I've seen so far seems to indicate Ecowitt might be a bit of a 
moving target as their new sensors start being released.  But for under $50 
US it's a nice low cost of entry for minimal in/out temp+hum that can play 
with weewx, plus the low prices on additional sensors.
