Where does "weewx report the correct weather station type" ?
Where do you want to see e.g. Ambient Weather WS-2902A or Froggit
WH3000SE or Ecowitt WH2910 "reported"/written by weewx ?
e.g. in the Seasons skin in the section "About this weather station" ?
If you mean that place, then I have e.g. made this information look like:
About this weather station ♦
Hardware ecowitt-client - WH4000SE / WH2320E
Based on this information one can think of various ways how to change
the default value...
