(asking for input from others here)

I'm writing up a clean howto for spinning up a minimal Lightsail instance
to rsync weewx public_html to and at this point I have it all ready with
the exception of still needing to https set up for the webserver.

My question for others like Doug/Mike/et.al. is what do you think nowadays
is the best way to get somebody a simple/free https setup such a
self-hosted VM ? My ancient VM used certbox to add it, with me needing to
manually set my Google Domains records and the like, which is perhaps a
little complicated for lay persons.

Would front ending with Cloudflare be today's simplest way to get such a
vanilla webserver enabled for https ?

Suggestions ?
