I do not doubt Tom's considerations about accuracy, I only want to report what happened yesterday.
AWEKAS does some quality checks. It reports an average barometer difference of -0.5 millibar for my station. When I entered the officially measured altitude of the console into weewx.conf and restarted WeeWX, the barometer value which WeeWX reported, jumped about +0.5 millibar. Note: The console is a Weatherlink Live, which only reports altimeter.
