I upgraded from a Davis Vantage Pro (since 2001!) to a Davis Vantage Pro 2. I've been using a serial Weather Envoy to connect to my Raspberry Pi to feed weewx and then feed my website. It's worked very well for a long time.
I understand I need a 6510USB Davis WeatherLink Computer Interface. Is that a direct, drop in replacement for the Envoy?
