Yes, the Davis Envoy will work with the VP2. In fact, it's what I use. NB: the Davis Envoy 8x is a completely different beast. It is used to log data from many ISS's simultaneously. It is not compatible with WeeWX.
Agree with Greg. It's as if Davis has a list of about 6 approved names and all products must be labeled with something from that list.
