Thanks for your response Tom. just a clarification on the use of fileparse:
if the fileparse setting for the loop packet recovery timeout in weewx.conf is 10 seconds and the file containing the loop packet is only updated after 60 seconds (this is an example), what happens during the 50 seconds where weewx will retrieve the same packet loop 5 times? Does Weewx know how to manage the recovery of a same packet loop recovered several times ?
