Hmmm, I have been kicking around the idea of jazzing up the Windy part
of weewx-belchertown-new.
If there is interest, I can open up a discussion -

Thx!

Hello! To close the loop on this, the "blue marker" that I was looking
at is actually my computer's location rather than the PWS location I'm
using. I kept updating the Lat & Lon coordinates, but that blue marker
would never move! I finally changed the Lat & Lon to the Statue of
Liberty in New York, and noticed the blue marker was still halfway
across the country even though the radar map properly centered on the
Statue of Liberty.
So.... I think for my purposes, leaving the radar_html field blank
rather than the long URL provides the same radar location. However,
I'm keeping the long URL to maintain some of the map attributes (e.g.,
zoom layer).
I appreciate your help, and apologies for the time waste on my "blue
marker" confusion.
Cheers!

I have the same setting as Raheem and it puts the point
radar_marker within 10 miles of the location that I set in
weewx.conf.

Hi Ben,
For mine at least I pasted in a long src url that includes
the latitude and longitude in it. Something like:
radar_html = <iframe width="650" height="360"
src="https://embed.windy.com/embed2.html?lat=46.890&lon=-92.197&detailLat=47.212&detailLon=-91.637&width=650&height=360&zoom=7&level=surface&overlay=radar&product=radar&menu=&message=&marker=&calendar=24&pressure=&type=map&location=coordinates&detail=&metricWind=mph&metricTemp=%C2%B0F&radarRange=-1
<https://embed.windy.com/embed2.html?lat=46.890&lon=-92.197&detailLat=47.212&detailLon=-91.637&width=650&height=360&zoom=7&level=surface&overlay=radar&product=radar&menu=&message=&marker=&calendar=24&pressure=&type=map&location=coordinates&detail=&metricWind=mph&metricTemp=%C2%B0F&radarRange=-1>"
frameborder="0"></iframe> # (default seems to center
on your lat/lon)

Hello!
For the windy.com <http://windy.com> radar that
generates on the map, where would I find the location
that is used for the radar_marker location?
I've looked through the /etc/weewx/weewx.conf file,
and this is all I have:
# radar_html = '' # (default seems to
center on your lat/lon)
# radar_html_dark = None
# radar_zoom = 8
radar_marker = 0
I realize this language exists. The marker on mine is
probably a two dozen or so miles away, so I am
wondering if I am looking in the wrong file (not
weewx.conf?)
I did change radar_marker to '0' which I understand is
supposed to disable the marker, but it still shows.
It doesn't need to be perfect, but it would be nice if
it were in the general area of the station.
Any suggestions are appreciated - thanks!
Ben
