Hullo Vince and thanks for taking the time to help.
Ok re the Py ver, comes back as 3.7.3

Did the dial group add and weewx seems to be happy now tho with some
peculiarities..
If I check via browser and locally, http//hostpi/weewx, it comes back with
non-current data. If I check via weewx reg-stations then it shows correct
data (name).
I haven't got the ftp working for my hosted site yet it seems....
When I check in the skins folder there isn't anything.
Under var/www I think, there is a collection of png with an index file
that generates the old web page.
But not sure where lives the current report generator or it's results.
More learning needed.
May be simpler to format the sd card and go new. Its becoming an endless
warren at this rate.
Anyway, that's where it is at present.
Thank-you again for your help so far 👍
warm regards
ian
