Ive just upgraded (or attempted to) my old setup using an older station and Interceptor driver to an Ecowitt 2564AE (2560 series).
However, try as i might, i cannot get it to work at all with WeeWx. Running WeeWx 5 (latest version) - Clean install of WeeWx on a RaPi. No skins (basic testing here). - EasyWeatherPro V5.2.5 firmware on the WittBoy - The web interface responds on the IP address (as does ping). Do i need to configure anything in "Customised" here? The gw1000 driver has been pulled but Github has https://github.com/Millardiang/weewx-gw1000 which is claimed to work. However, it does not. After installing the extension, running driver check i get: ---- *" PYTHONPATH=/usr/share/weewx python3 /etc/weewx/bin/user/gw1000.py --test-driver --ip-address=172.17.2.7* *Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.confUnable to connect to device: Failed to obtain response to command 'CMD_READ_FIRMWARE_VERSION' after 3 attempts Things to check include that the correct device IP address is being used, the device is powered on and the device is not otherwise disconnected from the local network."* *------------* More digging and it seems the API only responds to firmware version and nothing else. Am i barking up the wrong tree here? Using the wrong driver? Shall i switch to interceptor? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
