Before this goes any further, since I'm the one who suggested Adams Morgan, I can't make it on May 1 and I didn't think Stephanie was actually suggesting that day.
But if anyone wants something cool to do that night, Young Playwrights' Theater (full disclosure: I'm on their board) is having their annual benefit, which will be held at Woolly Mammoth. Since all of you were beating down the doors to get to our happy hour at Saki the other week, I figured you'd want to know about this too. Tickets are $75 ($65 is tax deductible), which seems like a lot, but it's really a bargain compared to the cost of all the other benefits and galas around town. More info at
