Sorry dear, by the time I realized it would be great to figure out a
way to get you there, it was too late. Damn. Would have been funny,
in retrospect, to have sent a "spy" -- and I promise you would have
had fun, they're a great bunch. But so many came from so many totally
separate parts of the birthday guy's life, you could have cruised the
entire party and NOBODY would have known.

Reminder to self: Must take advantage of these opportunities in the
future.
