nuptials (Nov. 11... Armistice Day). Wow, there's a lot of messhugas
involved in gettin' hitched. I'm glad I'm not marrying a Southerner,
though. They have mad crazy weddings with like 12 bridesmaids and
stuff. Anytime I come across some mention of a wedding tradition I've
never heard of, I assume it's a Southern thing.
In lieu of cake, we're having a big plate of canoli. My brother will
also be making my groom's cake. It will be a bunch of Twinkies,
Ding-Dongs, Ho-Ho's and other Hostess treats gently ensconced in
CoolWhip. We're thinking of peeps as cake toppers for that...
