Well folks, you have officially disappointed me. This group has died a
sad death for lack of interest. Or humor. Or at least it seems so.
Where are the posts??? Am I to abandon you lovely people for a group
fond of a tv/movie series I really like and recently joined?

Since I asked for some chat when I was bored spitless under the circs,
will share that we had what I suppose is great news today. My Mom's
"cancer markers" in her blood test are in the eighties (a month ago
she was about 110). In April, before treatment (although after
surgery, chemo and radiation and subsequent discovery of new cancer in
her liver) she was over 900. Mind you, not a single doctor I talk to
will tell me SHIT about what this means, pending her next cat scan,
but is there anyone out there with experience with this who can tell
me anything about blood markers?

I know the cat scan is going to be the thing, but one nurse I talked
to weeks ago said anything under a hundred on the markers was
considered "remission". Can anyone tell me anything about this?

Anyone who knows anything about the blood marker number thing and what
it means, I'd be tremendously grateful for some info. Rather than bore
these poor chatters, email me at my id at yahoo dot com if you have
anything to say. I have a trip coming up soon, and ... need some help.

Sorry this isn't funny. Really!!!!!

So I now offically withdraw my complaint at the top of this email,
because I have no right whatsoever to complain for lack of humor,
cheer or ... sense.
