well even if I had known what the F stood for if I didn't know that 
the MIL part didn't stand for mother in law it still wouldn't have 
made much sense.  It wasn't just an issue of not knowing what the F 
stood for, that was an error in my original assumption.  It was an 
issue of not understanding the whole concept.
