*ONE* diaper for the entire flight?  No experience to base it on, but it 
seems it woud take more than that.  And as for the restriction on 
prescription medicine, flights get delayed, and as for not allowing the pill 
bottles, I'm sure there are those who need the bottle for refills or for 
security on connecting flights, internatiional or otherwise.  But everyone, 
staff and passengers, was new at this, so they did well.  Listen, today at 
the community pool I go to for water exercise, there was a sign saying that 
"due to the heighten [sic] security situation," all swimmers had to sign in 
and present ID.  So we're all still learning.

I'm back.  And yes, I travelled from Heathrow to Dulles yesterday in what 
turned into a 21 hour trip.  Yipee!  It's something else at Heathrow.  One 
woman with a baby in arms was told she could only take two diapers and one 
bottle of baby formula with her on her international flight.  They told us 
we could take one book, changed their minds, and made everyone throw away 
their books at security.  We were allowed to take a wallet, keys, one pairs 
of eyeglasses sans case, our passport, the precise number of prescription 
pills we might need but not the bottles, tampons if needed and that was 
absolutely it. Good times.  The poor staff!  Well, the whole airport bonded 
and I can now say I've survived an international incident.  Went to the 
Edinburgh Fringe fest
